The PFA have announced the 2023/24 nominees for both the Women's Players' Player and Women’s Young Player of the Year awards.

The Professional Footballers' Association have two annual awards for the best player and best young player of the year in English football, as voted for by their contemporaries. Six players have been nominated in each category and the winners will be announced on Tuesday 20 August.

In the 2022/23 season, Aston Villa's Rachel Daly won the prestigious Players' Player of the Year, while Sam Kerr, Fran Kirby, Vivianne Miedema make up some of the other previous winners. In 2023, Lauren James was awarded Young Player of the Year, while Lauren Hemp is a four-time winner of the prize.

This year, James is in contention for a historic double as she's been shortlisted for both awards. Chelsea teammates Erin Cuthbert and Niamh Charles are also among the Players' Player nominees, and Aggie Beever-Jones is up for the Young Player award.

Manchester City's Lauren Hemp, Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw and Yui Hasegawa are in contention for the senior prize, while goalkeeper Khiara Keating and Jess Park are in the mix for the Young Player award. Manchester United pair Grace Clinton, who spent last season on loan at Tottenham Hotspur, and Maya Le Tissier make up the remaining young nominees.
