2024/25 marks a watershed moment for UEFA's club competitions, with the Swiss model's introduction set to bring about drastic changes.
Much of the discourse surrounding the Swiss model has focused on the Champions League, but the Europa League will also undergo the same format change from the start of the 2024/25 season.
There are no longer eight teams of four to make up the group stage, with the eventual 36 qualifiers for the Europa League competing in a league stage before the knockout rounds.
Format familiarity will kick in thereafter, with the knockout rounds following a similar schedule to what fans have grown used to since the emergence of the Conference League.
A fresh start should bring about plenty of excitement for a competition which is only growing in prestige. Here are all the teams that have qualified for the 2024/25 Europa League and the pots they have been placed into for the league stage draw.
2024/25 Europa League confirmed teams
All the qualified teams for the 2024/25 Europa League have now been confirmed. Over the summer, teams competed in three qualifying rounds to make the play-offs - the final round before the league stage.
Ajax and Braga are among the teams that had to endure the travails of qualifying, but both teams successfully ran the gauntlet.
Tottenham are back in the competition after finishing fifth in the Premier League and have been joined by Manchester United after their shock FA Cup final win over Manchester City.
Nice and Lyon have qualified from Ligue 1, while Porto and AZ advanced from their respective domestic divisions. Roma are also back, as are Real Sociedad, Athletic Club, Hoffenheim and Eintracht Frankfurt. Italy's immense success in Europe means Lazio, who finished seventh in Serie A, will also play in next season's Europa League.
Olympiacos were the final team to qualify for the Europa League as a result of their 2023/24 performances, claiming a spot in the competition after beating Fiorentina in the Europa Conference League final.
After losing in the Champions League qualifying rounds, Rangers, Twente, Nice, and Union Saint-Gilloise will play in the 2024/25 Europa League.
In total, 12 teams will qualify based on their domestic performance in 2023/24, 12 play-off winners will enter, 11 losers from the Champions League play-offs and the final spot goes to the Europa Conference League winners.
When is the 2024/25 Europa League league stage draw?
The draw for the 2024/25 Europa League league stage will take place following the conclusion of the play-offs in August. It's been scheduled for 29 August 2024 and will be held at UEFA's headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.
The format change means the draw won't determine which group each qualified team will play in, but their eight opponents instead. Every team will be drawn against two teams from each pot, with four games being played at home and four away to make up the league stage.

When is the 2024/25 Europa League final?
Two team will be left standing after slogging through a familiar knockout stage in terms of its format and the 2024/25 Europa League finalists will convene in Bilbao on 21 May 2025.
Athletic Club's regenerated San Mames, which boasts a capacity of over 50,000, will stage the competition's showpiece event.
