The agent of Manchester United winger Antony insists the Brazilian is completely focused on a future with the Red Devils, following reports he could be allowed to leave the club on loan this summer.

Antony has failed to impress following his £82m move from Ajax in the summer of 2022 and it was recently claimed that United are prepared to send the 24-year-old out on loan next season if a suitor is prepared to pay his £70,000-a-week wages.

Asked for a response to those reports, Antony's agent Junior Pedroso told Fabrizio Romano: "I see reports about potential exit on loan. Antony’s plan is clear: Manchester United.

"He wants to stay, he’s only focused on Man Utd. We already spoke about that with the club."

Manager Erik ten Hag reaffirmed his commitment to Antony last week, insisting the Brazilian has shown glimpses of the talent which convinced United to spend so heavily to secure his signature.

"I don't go over the budget. I've never even had a budget. At United, the budgets lie with the owners and management," Ten Hag told Algemeen Dagblad. "[Antony] certainly showed that potential in the first month: he scored three times in his first three games.

"After that, it became more difficult, last season was not good. But I am still convinced that he has the potential to play at this club."

United still need to sell players before they can continue their summer spending spree and could still entertain offers for Antony, whose contract at Old Trafford runs until 2027 and includes a 12-month extension clause.
