Arne Slot warned referee Michael Oliver he would be to blame if Liverpool are not crowned Premier League champions in an explicit rant which saw him sent off after last month's Merseyside derby, the official match report has revealed.
Alongside assistant Spike Hulshoff, Slot was shown a red card shortly after the final whistle of the 2-2 draw with Everton and was subsequently hit with a two-match suspension which began in the weekend's victory over Newcastle United.
Slot looked stunned when Oliver brandished a red card which, according to the referee's report, came after several aggressive comments from the Reds boss.
It is stated that Slot was confrontational as he claimed Oliver "f**king gave them everything" and asked the referee whether he was "proud" of his performance during the game.
The pair then went their separate ways before Slot reignited his frustrations one minute later, telling Oliver: "If we don't win the league, I'll f**king blame you."
Oliver had not yet produced a red card but, after Slot allegedly turned to the assistant referee and described the result as a "f**king disgrace", the decision was made to dismiss the Liverpool manager.
As for Hulshoff, he was described as "extremely aggressive" as he told Oliver his performance was "f**king s**t" and called the official a *f**king disgrace".
Oliver left his exchange with Hulshoff to address red cards for both Curtis Jones and Abdoulaye Doucoure, but the Liverpool assistant is said to have followed and continued shouting "f**king s**t" even while being physically restrained by his colleagues. Oliver eventually produced another red card.
Slot and Hulshoff will return to the Liverpool dugout on Wednesday for the Champions League last 16 first leg against Paris Saint-Germain but will complete their suspension when the Premier League returns at the weekend against Southampton.
