Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has admitted goalkeeper Alisson is at risk of missing Saturday's clash with Bournemouth through injury.

The stopper played 90 minutes in Liverpool's 3-1 win over Milan but did not train with the team on Thursday amid reports of a hamstring injury.

Asked for an update on Alisson's condition, Slot told his pre-match press conference that the Brazilian faces a race against time to recover in time for Bournemouth.

"Alisson is still a doubt if he can train today, so let's wait [to see] if he can train," Slot said of Alisson. "Then, if he can't then he will probably not play as well, so we have to wait and see.

"Apart from Harvey Elliott, [there are no other injuries]."

The Liverpool boss continued: "[Alisson] has a slight issue with one of his muscles and we wonder if this game tomorrow is coming too early or not. I think he did not take it from the Milan game, it happened a bit before, but after the Milan game he felt more and more.

"Now we have to wait to see if he is ready to be in goal tomorrow, or we have to wait a few more extra days."

Should Alisson miss out, it would present a rare opportunity for Caoimhin Kelleher to play. The Republic of Ireland international has made it abundantly clear that he wanted to leave Anfield this summer over his lack of minutes.
