Expensive prices mean Arsenal's pre-season clash with Manchester United at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles still has nearly 20,000 tickets to shift before Saturday.

The two Premier League giants are due to square off in a summer friendly in the United States at the 70,000 capacity arena which is also home to the Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Chargers, two NFL teams.

However, as revealed by Mail Sport, only 51,000 tickets have been sold for the game so far, with some high prices seemingly putting off supporters from attending.

The cheapest stubs for the match come in at $126 (£97) while the most expensive pass will set fans back an extraordinary $667 (£516).

Arsenal begin their pre-season schedule early on Thursday morning with a clash against Bournemouth at Dignity Health Sports Park, while United are already two matches into their summer calendar.

The Red Devils suffered a late defeat to Rosenborg but bounced back to beat Scottish giants Rangers 2-0 at Murrayfield last Saturday.

Leny Yoro made his first United appearance in that victory, while Andre Onana, Amad Diallo and Jadon Sancho also returned from their summer holidays to feature. Marcus Rashford, Antony and Victor Lindelof were all absent due to a small injuries, while Harry Maguire, Scott McTominay and Tyrell Malacia are yet to link up with the squad in the US.

Arsenal, meanwhile, have announced a 26-player touring squad which includes the likes of club captain Martin Odegaard, Ben White, Gabriel Jesus and Jurrien Timber.

Gabriel Magalhaes, Gabriel Martinelli and Kai Havertz will join their squad from 25 July, but Declan Rice, Aaron Ramsdale, Bukayo Saka, David Raya and William Saliba won't make the trip over to America after their long runs at Euro 2024.
