Arsenal predicted lineup vs Tottenham today - Premier League
- Arsenal travel to bitter rivals Tottenham for Sunday's north London derby
- Gunners were in imperious form as they thrashed Chelsea in midweek
- Jurrien Timber edging closer to full return
Manchester City's authoritative display at Brighton further underlined Arsenal's need to win their remaining four Premier League games to have a chance of claiming the Premier League title.
The Gunners have looked rejuvenated in their previous two outings and head into a huge north London derby having thumped Chelsea 5-0 on Tuesday night. Mikel Arteta's men have recovered impressively from a torrid eight days which saw them exit the Champions League and lose at home to Aston Villa.
However, a major test beckons in N17 with a hateful Tottenham desperate to derail the Gunners' title tilt.
Arteta's squad remains healthy and he should have a full cohort of players to choose from very soon. Changes are unlikely from the side that battered Chelsea and here's what we think the Arsenal team will look like for Sunday's derby.
Arsenal predicted lineup vs Tottenham (4-3-3)
GK: David Raya - Raya is on course for Golden Glove honours this season. A clean sheet on Sunday would be huge.
RB: Ben White - White has found his groove again after a tricky period. Arsenal's right-back scored twice against Chelsea on Tuesday night as he doubled his Premier League goals tally in one night.
CB: William Saliba - Arsenal supporters were ruing Saliba's absence this time last year, but the Frenchman is fit and firing right now. Arteta will need the very best of Saliba on Sunday.
CB: Gabriel - There will be no Harry Kane to duel in N17 this time around, with Gabriel having to tame Son Heung-min, who scored twice in the reverse fixture.
LB: Takehiro Tomiyasu - Jurrien Timber is closing in on a return, but the derby is a game too soon. Tomiyasu should keep his place.
CM: Thomas Partey - The Ghanaian was excellent against Chelsea after a few rusty cameos. Arteta finally deployed his utopian midfield on Tuesday and the results were pretty remarkable as they completely overwhelmed the Blues.
CM: Declan Rice - Rice, like White, has rediscovered his best form during Arsenal's previous two outings and will be aiming to dominate the derby on Sunday given he lasted just 45 minutes at the Emirates in September.
CM: Martin Odegaard - Arsenal's irresistible skipper is a contender for Player of the Year honours, with his success on that front depending on whether the Gunners lift the title.
RW: Bukayo Saka - Saka scored in N17 last season and a return to the scoresheet on Sunday would be timely after he failed to get in on the fun in midweek.
ST: Kai Havertz - Arteta's Gunners have functioned better with Havertz leading the line and he's a shoo-in to retain his place up top after scoring a brace against his former club.
LW: Leandro Trossard - Trossard has played a key role for Arsenal during the run-in, with the Belgian scoring in three of his previous four Premier League outings.
