Arsenal vs Man City: Preview, predictions and lineups
- Arsenal host Man City in a gargantuan clash on Sunday afternoon
- Gunners aiming to keep pace with table toppers Liverpool
- Cityzens starting to turn the corner after difficult few months
Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester City lock horns on Sunday afternoon in a mouth-watering clash at the Emirates Stadium.
The pair played out a frenetic and drama-fuelled draw in the reverse fixture back in September, John Stones' 98th-minute effort denying the ten-man Gunners victory. Much has changed since then, however, with Man City having endured a torrid spell of form over the past few months.
The misfiring Cityzens have slumped down the table as a result of their woeful run but have started to rediscover their mojo since the turn of the year. Securing their place in the Champions League play-offs midweek with a 3-1 win over Club Brugge, Pep Guardiola's side have now won five of their last seven outings.
However, they remain behind Arsenal in the Premier League as Mikel Arteta's side look to keep pace with league leaders Liverpool. The north Londoners are perched in second place but need victory on Sunday to avoid falling further behind in the title race, especially considering Arne Slot's table toppers have a game in hand.
Here is 90min's guide to a mammoth Premier League duel.

Arsenal team news
Arsenal were able to rotate players midweek and goalkeeper David Raya was given an enforced rest against Girona after picking up a minor injury. There are concerns over his availability on Sunday but recent reports have suggested he should be passed fit.
Myles Lewis-Skelly saw the harsh red card he picked up against Wolverhampton Wanderers last week rescinded and will be available for the weekend.
However, Arsenal are still without influential attacking duo Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus, while right-backs Takehiro Tomiyasu and Ben White also remain on the treatment table.

Arsenal vs Man City score prediction
Neither side are at their absolute best heading into Sunday's encounter, with key injuries having impacted both. Those absentees could result in a cagey affair at the Emirates, with the pair fighting an intense tactical battle in search of marginal gains.
It's difficult to know whether Man City have turned their fortunes around for the long-term but Sunday will prove an almighty test of their credentials. Arsenal have lacked attacking invention and creativity in recent weeks but still boast some of the division's finest.
We have seen scrappy meetings between these two giants before and the weekend clash could add to a growing list of tight and hard-fought battles.
