Barcelona have made Liverpool's Luis Diaz their top winger target for the summer transfer window, according to a report.
La Blaugrana are on the hunt for a new wide forward heading into the 2024/25 season and have been linked with various players in recent months.
A prominent name that keeps cropping up is Diaz, and Catalan outlet Mundo Deportivo claim Barca have decided to make him their 'most desired' option.
The club understand that the Colombia international would be open to a move. Diaz would demand comparable wages to his current Liverpool salary, and Barcelona are ready to raise funds by selling players as well as agreeing to new commercial deals with Nike and Barca Studios.
The winger's his father has previously admitted Diaz's dream is to represent Barcelona, claiming: "The truth is that I know very little about Barcelona at the moment. It is true that Luis is a loyal Barcelona fan and it would be his dream to go there. So far I would like to thank Porto and Liverpool for the way they welcomed him and received him.
"Luis is a player who finds it easy to win over because of the way he is, because of his humility, his work, his dedication, he is a very disciplined player, thank God. There would be no problem if Luis came to Barcelona because it is a top team and one of the best in the world."
Mundo Deportivo suggest that if Barcelona are able to cobble together enough money to present an acceptable bid to Liverpool, then Diaz will 'do his part' to force a move.
Though Diaz is their top target, Barcelona do have other wingers on their radar in case a move is not possible. Athletic Club's Nico Williams and RB Leipzig's Dani Olmo are also being considered, as is Porto's Brazil international Pepe.
