Barcelona's quest for the quadruple continues on Saturday night as they face one of the teams who took advantage of their December dip.

An unproductive end to 2024 saw Hansi Flick's side conclude the year third in the La Liga table, but an imperious opening to the new year leaves La Blaugrana in a promising position across the board. The Copa del Rey final beckons later this month, while a spot in the Champions League semi-finals seems inevitable after their majestic performance in midweek.

Rotation is expected from Flick for Saturday's trip to Leganes, even if Barca have a mammoth 4-0 lead to protect against Borussia Dortmund next Tuesday.

Their lead at the top of La Liga is four points, and they'll extend it to seven if they avenge Leganes' 1-0 triumph in the reverse fixture. Here's how Barcelona could line up on Saturday night.

GK: Wojciech Szczesny - The Polish shot-stopper could soon be usurped by Marc-Andre ter Stegen between the posts, but Szczesny has done little wrong in recent weeks. His assured run continued against Dortmund.

RB: Jules Kounde - No player has racked up more La Liga minutes for Barca this season than Kounde, who should be rotated out of the team, but Flick hasn't yet shown a willingness to drop the Frenchman.

CB: Ronald Araujo - Araujo may not be in Flick's strongest defence, but the stand-in captain nonetheless has a big role to play for Barca down the stretch with the club competing on multiple fronts.

CB: Inigo Martinez - Teenager Pau Cubarsi is more likely to be rested than the experienced Martinez, who has started just two fewer La Liga games this season. Cubarsi has shaken off the knock he picked up on international duty and will likely be preserved for next week's second leg.

LB: Gerard Martin - Flick has turned to Martin on occasion this season, with Alejandro Balde enjoying a supreme campaign at left-back. The academy starlet is no Balde flying down the flank, but he's serviceable.

CM: Eric Garcia - The former Man City defender is a great option to be rotated into the side, with Pedri likely to drop out. Barca's star midfielder must be preserved, and Garcia has impressed in the middle of the park this term.

CM: Frenkie de Jong - De Jong got through the full 90 at the weekend, but he's played almost 1,500 fewer minutes than Pedri this season. Gavi is another option for the visitors, but he may be required higher up the pitch.

RW: Raphinha - Raphinha's excellent season continued in the week as he stole a Champions League goal from Cubarsi on the line. In order to facilitate the necessary rotation, the Brazilian could swich to the right flank.

AM: Fermin Lopez - The Spaniard has shone in Dani Olmo's absence, and Fermin is likely to continue in the side with the former RB Leipzig playmaker still missing.

LW: Gavi - Gavi performed this role a couple of weeks back against Girona. He could operate in tandem with Fermin between the lines, and hope Martin is a reliable outlet on the overlap.

ST: Ferran Torres - Robert Lewandowski netted a brace in Wednesday's first leg and will surely get a rest. Ferran in Barca's third-highest scorer in La Liga this season with nine goals, and is poised for a recall.
