Barcelona have finalised the registrations of both Alejandro Balde and Fermin Lopez, allowing both players to play for the team next season, but Hansi Flick and his coaching staff are stunningly still outstanding.

Having exceeded their permitted wage budget, a handful of Barcelona players are not yet registered with La Liga, with the club forced to lower costs and perhaps even sell players to make the room needed to register their entire squad.

Two players who no longer have to worry about missing out are Fermin and Balde as MARCA note both have seen their new contracts formally signed off by La Liga.

Barcelona found some extra space in the wage bill to be able to register both Fermin and Balde but still need to find more if they are to register their entire squad.

Inigo Martinez is not yet registered, while Barcelona also have to find room for Vitor Roque, who is not currently part of the squad which has been approved by La Liga.

There is also the issue of Sergi Roberto's contract to address. The versatile defender has been offered an extension to his contract, which expires in just a matter of days, but may find that Barcelona do not have the ability to actually register a new deal.

Perhaps the biggest concern for Barcelona is the fact that new manager Hansi Flick and his coaching staff have also not been registered at this point.

If Barcelona can free up some money, Flick and his staff will be their next priority to register, with Roque expected to be sacrificed amid concerns over his readiness to play at such a high level.

The dilemma for Barcelona, however, is that Roque's agent has threatened to block any loan moves and instead push for a permanent sale this summer if the teenage striker is not given a prominent role in the team.

Roque joined Barcelona in January for a fee of €61m including add-ons but found minutes hard to come by under former boss Xavi, who was accused of lying about his plans for the Brazilian.
