Barcelona round off their pre-season tour of the United States in Baltimore on Tuesday evening as they take on Serie A giants Milan.

Hansi Flick has taken a La Masia-inspired squad with him to the US and Barca's youngsters have so far impressed on tour. After drawing 2-2 with Manchester City, Barca downed Real Madrid for the second consecutive summer. 22-year-old striker Pau Victor, a star for Barcelona B last season, scored twice in their New York Clasico win.

Flick will hope to oversee a strong end to their Stateside venture against a Milan team that are also at the start of a new era having parted ways with Stefano Pioli at the end of 2023/24.

New manager Paulo Fonseca has so far overseen victories over Man City and Real Madrid in the US.

Jules Kounde is one of the players to have teamed up with Flick's squad midway through the tour, but the Frenchman did not appear against Real Madrid. He should earn minutes in Baltimore, though.

Spaniards Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres enjoyed extended breaks after Euro 2024 and will not fly out to the US. Fermin Lopez and Pau Cubarsi have been on Olympic duty with Spain's Under-23s.

Frenkie de Jong, Ronald Araujo, Pedri, Ansu Fati and Gavi are all on the treatment table, but Flick has benefitted from the return of Alejandro Balde following a long-term absence.

Euro 2024 stars Mike Maignan, Theo Hernandez and Tijjani Reijnders have been welcomed back to Milan's training base, but they won't be featuring out in the US. Thus, Fonseca is set to work with a similar squad to the one he's had at his disposal for Milan's first two games of the tour.

Rafael Leao is in contention for Tuesday's outing, with Fonseca set to name a strong starting XI against Barca given the break Milan have had between matches.

USMNT stars Yunus Musah and Christian Pulisic are set to make their first starts of the tour.

Barca have so far exceeded expectations this summer, with Flick enjoying an impressive start to his reign out in the States. The youngsters are keen to impress, with Barca continuing to unearth a few homegrown gems.

The cohesion at which they've played is to be expected of Barca sides, with Flick's forced reliance on youth working superbly well. Milan, though, have shown similar promise in North America.

While this is merely pre-season, both sides will be keen to assert control with the ball in Baltimore. Flick's Barca have so far shown an ability to press with great effect, with Fonseca's ideals poised to be put to the test.
