Belgium's Euro 2024 campaign burst into life on matchday 2 with a 2-0 victory over Romania, and another triumph in their final group game will give Domenico Tedesco's side a great shot at topping Group E.

The Red Devils' campaign started in nightmare fashion when they succumbed to Slovakia in a major upset, but Tedesco's changes facilitated a slick and efficient performance against Romania to restore some optimism among Belgian supporters.

Group E is mightily tight, with all four teams locked on three points through two games. Two draws on Thursday will bring about a few complications, but Belgium only have eyes on back-to-back wins.

Here's how Tedesco could set his side up against Ukraine to round off Group E.

GK: Koen Casteels - Much was made of Thibaut Courtois' omission heading into the tournament, but Casteels has performed well since his early concession against Slovakia. The goalkeeper performed superbly in Belgium's win over Romania.

RB: Timothy Castagne - A change in tack from Tedesco freed up Castagne down the right flank. The Fulham defender should have similar freedom on Thursday.

CB: Wout Faes - The Leicester man has started Belgium's opening two games and is set to continue in the side alongside an experienced partner.

CB: Jan Vertonghen - Vertonghen came in for young Zeno Debast last time out and produced an excellent defensive performance. The former Tottenham star should remain in the side for the remainder of the tournament.

LB: Arthur Theate - Belgium's altered dynamics saw Theate, who's primarily a centre-back, operate on the left side of a back three when the Red Devils had possession. Theate provided the necessary security for the ageing Vertonghen down the left.

DM: Amadou Onana - A physical presence in both boxes, Onana can supply Belgium with the extra 1%. The Everton midfielder is aiming to impress potential suitors in Germany this summer.

DM: Youri Tielemans - His omission was odd on matchday 1, and it didn't take long for Tielemans to have an impact against Romania. The Aston Villa midfielder opened the scoring within 90 seconds and has established a harmonious dynamic with Onana in the middle of the park.

RM: Johan Bakayoko - Dodi Lukebakio was bright last time out, offering dynamism down the right flank, but he's suspended for Thursday's game having picked up his second yellow card of the tournament. Bakayoko's a fine deputy, mind.

AM: Kevin De Bruyne - After struggling to fire against Slovakia, De Bruyne was at his absolute best last time out. The Man City star was unleashed by Tedesco and he sealed Belgium's win on Saturday with a clever finish after running in behind.

LM: Jeremy Doku - Spritely as ever in Germany, but Doku's tournament is yet to ignite. With Ukraine predicted to sit deep and contain, Doku's sudden bursts could prove key in and around the box.

ST: Romelu Lukaku - Will Lukaku's infatuation with disallowed goals continue on Thursday? The Belgian striker has notched three already and is thus yet to get off the mark. A productive outing is surely only around the corner.
