EA FC 25 has been released to excited audiences craving another instalment of football's grandest video game.

It's a big second year for EA Sports after their departure from FIFA, but their new flagship game remains immensely popular among those with a passion for Ultimate Team, an addiction to Career Mode and an unhealthy obsession with Pro Clubs.

Once again, there's something for everybody in EA FC 25 and the burgeoning youngsters with heaps of potential are always going to catch a gamer's eye - especially those tasked with putting the ball in the back of the net.

With that in mind, let's take a closer look at the best young strikers aged 23 or under in EA FC 25.

There is a glut of elite-level forwards, including the 91-rated Erling Haaland, who just exceed the Under-23 threshold. However, including only those with striker as a starting position, many of the game's young guns are not yet the finished article like the Norwegian.

Lyon Feminin forward Melchie Dumornay is the highest-rated player within the 20 strikers with the highest potential. Her 83 overall rating can climb all the way to 91, the same as 77-rated Real Madrid wonderkid Endrick.

Behind Dumolnay is Bayer Leverkusen sharpshooter Victor Boniface, who is 82-rated following a stupendous season with the German champions. He matches fellow Bundesliga strikers Mathys Tel of Bayern Munich and Benjamin Sesko of RB Leipzig in their ability to reach 88 overall.

The Premier League can compete with the Bundesliga's promise in the form of Evan Ferguson and new arrival Joshua Zirkzee. Both have a potential rating of 86 but it's the Manchester United striker with the higer current rating of 79.

Besiktas are stacked with impressive starlets in the final third, with Semih Kilicsoy and Mustafa Hekimoglu both featuring among the brightest youngsters. They should provide good value-for-money for Career Mode managers with Kilicsoy having a potential of 88 overall and Hekimoglu 86.

Spanish rivals Atletico Madrid Femenino and Real Marid Femenino can both lay claim to the most impressive young forward in Liga F. The former have Gio Garbelini and the latter Naomie Feller, both of whom have an 87 potential rating.

Cheap wonderkid strikers in EA FC 25 Career Mode

If money is no issue, then building a wonderkid factory is not difficult. However, buying quality on a budget is much more challenging.

Looking at players that are valued at £15m or less in EA FC 25, it's clear there is value to be found scouring Europe and South America. The aforementioned Ferguson, for example, is only valued at £8.3m despite being a potential superstar in the future.

However, even cheaper than the Irishman is Monaco's George Ilenikhena. The 86-potential youngster has already made a handful of appearances for the Ligue 1 side's senior squad and is valued by EA at just £3.3m.

RB Salzburg's Karim Konate, who was nominated for the Kopa trophy in 2024, has an even higher potential of 87 and a valuation of just £6.3m. Similarly, Cercle Brugge striker Paris Brunner, who is on loan from Borussia Dortmund, also has an 87 potential with a value of £1.9m.

If you're delving into women's football on Career Mode for the first time, then Aggie Beever-Jones would be a smart addition. The Chelsea striker may only be 70-rated right now but she has a potential of 84 and a value of just £3.5m.
