EA Sports went solo last year, with EA FC 25 being the second iteration of their leading football game following the breaking of their relationship with FIFA.

All the staple game modes have made a return for this year's release and there have been plenty of improvements made across the board, especially in the much-loved Career Mode.

FC IQ has brought some tactical insight to the game mode and women's football has been introduced for the first time in EA FC and FIFA history. Positive steps forward should enthuse a hungry fanbase.

Of course, the most joyous part of any Career Mode is signing world-class talent for your squad. Youth is king when it comes to building a dynasty and there are a vast array of wonderkids just waiting to be poached.

Here are the best left wingers aged 23 or under in EA FC 25 for those looking to improve their forward line.

While we haven't included those with left-wing as an alternate position, we have also listed those who are down as a left midfielder in EA FC 25.

Following a majestic summer in which he starred for Euro 2024 winners Spain and was desired by several of Europe's elite, it's no surprise Athletic Club's Nico Williams is the highest-rated 23 or under left winger in the game. He's 85-rated alongside Napoli's Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and can rise to 89 overall.

However, the dynamic duo are not the two left wingers that boast the highest potential in EA FC 25. That award goes to Liga F superstars Linda Caicedo of Real Madrid and Claudia Pina of Barcelona. Both can reach 90 overall and are justifiably among the most exciting wonderkids in world football.

Just as Real Madrid and Barca's women's sides compete for the most dazzling young left winger in EA FC 25, the Premier League's Manchester giants are also battling for bragging rights. Manchester City's summer signing Savinho slightly outperforms Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho when it comes to current ability and potential.

Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund post multiple entries in the 20 highest-potential young left wingers, with the former boasting both Bradley Barcola and new arrival Desire Doue. Dortmund have three entrants, with English wonderkid Jamie Gittens sharing the left flank with Karim Adeyemi and Julien Duranville.

Only four female players find themselves in the top 20, with Angel City's Alyssa Thompson and Athletic Club's Jone Amezaga boasting excellent potential. The former can reach as high as 87 overall.

There are plenty of exciting young left wingers valued at £15m or less in EA FC 25, with Real Zaragoza's Adrian Liso one of the most affordable wonderkids available. While rated just 67 to begin with, he can climb all the way to 86 if nurtured correctly and is valued at just £2.2m.

If you want to push your budget a little further then Euro 2024 star Kenan Yildiz of Juventus is a fine option. The Turkey international is valued at £3.2m but is already rated 70 with a potential of 85.

Liga F has plenty of excellent wonderkids at the top end of the pitch and the wonderfully-named Gift Monday of UD Tenerife is another example. While valued at £11.5m, she can hit 85 overall.
