Brentford and Brighton & Hove Albion are both aiming to get back to winning ways in the Premier League when they lock horns on Saturday afternoon.
The Bees have failed to win any of their previous three matches - although they have secured admirable draws with Arsenal and Chelsea most recently - and the Seagulls also enter the weekend in disappointing form. They are without victory in four and have crashed down the standings over the past few weeks.
Neither side have much to play for in the remaining six weeks of the campaign, stuck in mid-table and without hopes of securing European football. They will be playing for pride at the Gtech Community Stadium and little else.

Brentford team news
Brentford have welcomed Gustavo Nunes and Rico Henry back into the fold during recent matches and are close to seeing long-term absentee Aaron Hickey return. The Scotland international has been absent since October 2023 and should make his comeback before the end of the term.
However, Brentford will be without Fabio Carvalho, Joshua Dasilva and Igor Thiago for the visit of Brighton.
Thomas Frank is unlikely to make many alterations from the side that drew at Arsenal last weekend following an encouraging performance and result.

Defensive injuries are causing Fabian Hurzeler most issues, with a raft of player absent in the backline. Back-up goalkeeper Jason Steele is missing, as are Adam Webster, Ferdi Kadioglu, Igor, Joel Veltman, Tariq Lamptey and James Milner.

Brentford have picked up some positive results in recent outings but their home form has been surprisingly disappointing of late. They impressed at the Gtech at the beginning of the campaign but haven't won on home soil since the start of December - ten matches ago in all competitions.
Brighton's injury-hit defence have struggled over recent games - even conceding two to Leicester last time out - and should offer Brentford encouragement. However, they have some impressive attacking threats capable of hurting the Bees at the other end.
