- Newcastle visit Brentford on final day of the Premier League season
- Magpies hoping to snatch sixth place in race for European qualification

Brentford host Newcastle United on the final day of the 2023/24 Premier League season as both teams attempt to end difficult campaigns on a high.
The Bees have looked nervously over their shoulder for much of the term but a late surge has helped Thomas Frank's side finish comfortably clear of the relegation zone ahead of a summer which could see the departure of key forward Ivan Toney.
The Magpies, meanwhile, have been hit hard by injuries throughout the campaign but could still nick sixth with victory at Gtech Community Stadium if results elsewhere go their way.

Brentford team news
Like Newcastle, Brentford have struggled with more than their fair share of fitness concerns throughout the season and approach Sunday's fixture with at least four players sidelined through injury.
Josh Dasilva, Rico Henry, Ben Mee and Aaron Hickey will all miss out, but there is hope centre-back Nathan Collins can shake off a knock in time to feature. Frank Onyeka is also a doubt.
Neal Maupay, Brentford's player of the season, has seen his minutes decline in recent weeks but he missed the win at Bournemouth for the birth of his second child and could return to the matchday squad.

Brentford vs Newcastle score prediction
The final day often conjures up remarkable scorelines and this clash in south west London could yield plenty of goals.
Brentford will have designs of jumping above Everton - who have to travel to Arsenal - to claim 15th place but cannot drop any lower than their current spot of 16th. They've finished the season strongly with three wins from five games and will want to send their fans home happy for the summer.
Eddie Howe's Newcastle have been successful in their recent meetings with the Bees but, at the end of the long and weary campaign, they may not have enough in the tank to travel back up north with all three points.
