Bayer Leverkusen have made contact with Chelsea defender Axel Disasi over a possible January transfer, a report has claimed.
Disasi appears to be Enzo Maresca's fifth-choice centre-back, behind Levi Colwill, Wesley Fofana, Benoit Badiashile and Tosin Adarabioyo in the pecking order, and has managed just four appearances in the Premier League this season.
According to Sky Sports Switzerland, Disasi is frustrated with his limited role and is now considering leaving Chelsea in January to reignite his career.
His situation has reportedly caught the eye of Bayer Leverkusen, who have reached out to discuss a winter move as they sweat over the potential departure of captain Jonathan Tah, who is entering the final six months of his contract and has already made it clear he will not be signing an extension.
Disasi is also attracting interest from Juventus, but the Serie A side would only be able to offer an initial loan deal - something which may not be of interest to Chelsea.
Maresca, for his part, has stressed his desire to keep hold of every player in the squad but acknowledged those struggling for minutes must decide whether they are happy continuing to fight for their futures.
