Chelsea have agreed a deal to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Pedro Neto, according to reports.
The Blues have been on the hunt for a new wide forward all summer and, after missing out on Michael Olise to Bayern Munich, appear to have set their sights on 24-year-old Neto.
News of a potential move was first revealed by Fabrice Hawkins and later backed up by numerous sources as details of the negotiations between the two clubs began to be made public.
The Athletic note that Chelsea have agreed to pay an initial €60m (£51.4m) to sign Neto, with a further €3m (£2.6m) in potential add-ons.
A medical is expected to be held shortly, with Neto on track to become the ninth player to make the move to Chelsea this summer. The Blues have also struck a deal to sign Palmeiras winger Estevao in 2025.
Neto had been linked with both Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur earlier this summer after an impressive return of nine assists and two goals from 20 games in another injury-hit season.
Fitness problems have plagued Neto's time with Wolves. Indeed, his total of 20 Premier League appearances last season was his highest return since 2020/21.
Chelsea have already signed Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Filip Jorgensen, Omari Kellyman, Aaron Anselmino, Renato Veiga, Caleb Wiley, Marc Guiu and Tosin Adarabioyo this summer but have once again shown no signs of slowing down in the transfer market.
Striker Samu Omorodion is on the cusp of sealing a £38m move from Atletico Madrid, while 19-year-old goalkeeper Mike Penders is expected to be loaned back to Genk after his £17.1m transfer is finalised.
