Chelsea are not currently pursuing Napoli striker Victor Osimhen amid concerns over the cost of the deal, according to reports.

Osimhen has long been seen as Chelsea's top striker target, with the Blues keeping tabs on the 25-year-old for close to two years now as they search for the missing link at the top of their attack. A transfer this summer seemed to be on the cards when he signed a new contract with a release clause worth over £100m.

However, according to Fabrizio Romano, that price tag has contributed to Chelsea's decision to cool their interest in Osimhen who is already also seen as too old for the current Stamford Bridge project.

The Blues are still expected to sign a new striker this summer but will search for a cheaper alternative to Osimhen. 90min understands Chelsea are one of the many suitors for RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko.

Chelsea are also looking to sell a handful of strikers currently on the books, with both Romelu Lukaku and Armando Broja available for transfer this summer.

Lukaku is available for £38m following the conclusion of his loan with Roma and was recently rumoured as a target for Turkish giants Fenerbahce by presidential candidate Aziz Yildirim, who claimed at a press conference that incoming manager Jose Mourinho is keen to land the Belgian.

As for Broja, Chelsea had been demanding £50m for the academy graduate's signature in January but, after a disasterous loan with Fulham, that asking price is expected to be slashed in half.

Ben Jacobs names Crystal Palace, Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers as Premier League suitors for the 22-year-old, who also has interest from both Monaco and AC Milan. Broja is even believed to be open to a move to Saudi Arabia, where Al Shabab have previously explored a deal.
