Chelsea predicted lineup vs Sheffield United today - Premier League

Chelsea will hope their unlikely push for European qualification moves one step forward on Sunday when they travel to face the Premier League's bottom side Sheffield United.

While Mauricio Pochettino's side head into gameweek 32 sitting in tenth, they do have one game in hand over most of their immediate competitors - two over West Ham - and are only five points away from sixth place. A win here would keep the pressure up on those around them.

Here's how Chelsea could set up for this one.

Chelsea predicted lineup vs Sheffield United (4-2-3-1)

GK: Djordje Petrovic - There are no major concerns about Petrovic's recent form but there's no hiding from the fact he has conceded nine goals in his last four Premier League outings.

RB: Josh Acheampong - With Reece James injured and Malo Gusto nowhere near his best last time out, Pochettino will never have a better chance to hand a debut to academy star Josh Acheampong. If he won't turn to the club's youngsters against the worst team in the Premier League, when will he?

CB: Trevoh Chalobah - Chelsea need a change in defence and Chalobah should get the chance to prove himself, having done well off the bench last time out.

CB: Benoit Badiashile - The fact he is left-footed may be the entire reason Badiashile gets to keep his spot.

LB: Marc Cucurella - Cucurella's defensive frailties were on show against United but he won't be expecting to be so busy this time around.

DM: Moises Caicedo - Caicedo will be keen to make amends after his error gifted United a route back into the game in midweek.

DM: Enzo Fernandez - While his performances have been mixed, Fernandez is among the most popular members of the squad these days after his passionate showing against United.

RM: Cole Palmer - If Palmer is healthy, he has to play. You'd like to think Chelsea could cope without him for this one, but that's a risk Pochettino shouldn't take.

AM: Conor Gallagher - Gallagher's energy and enthusiasm are far more important to this team than a lot of critics want you to believe. There's nobody to replace him right now.

LM: Noni Madueke - After winning the penalty that kick-started the comeback last time out, Madueke absolutely deserves a start here.

ST: Nicolas Jackson - Everyone's favourite celebration mimic, Jackson will have to continue leading the line while Christopher Nkunku's indefinite absence continues.
