Crystal Palace are searching for a rare home victory when they take on Aston Villa in the Premier League on Tuesday night.
This is the third meeting of the season between these two clubs, with the pair also facing off in the Carabao Cup before they played out a 2-2 draw in the reverse league fixture last November.
Palace had won just one of their opening 11 Premier League outings before they secured a point at Villa Park, with the Eagles enjoying a much more productive start to the new year. The south London outfit are up to 13th and head into Tuesday's game off the back of an impressive 2-0 victory at Fulham on Saturday.

While Palace have struggled in front of their fans, Villa have not been particularly good travellers. This is their first away game since they lost 2-0 at Wolves on 1 February. Unai Emery's side have won just four of their 12 league games on the road, but their stellar form at Villa Park has left them firmly in the picture to claim a Champions League place for 2025/25.

Crystal Palace team news
Adam Wharton has been eased back into the fold in recent weeks, with the midfielder so far limited to cameos having recovered from the groin surgery he underwent in November. The quick turnaround from Saturday could tempt Glasner into bringing the Englishman into his starting XI, but another appearance off the bench seems more likely.
The hosts have no fresh injury concerns from the weekend's win at Fulham, but they're still without Joel Ward, Chadi Riad, and Cheick Doucoure.
Jean-Philippe Mateta was at it again on Saturday amid another stellar season, and the Frenchman will lead Palace's attack against an injury-hit Villa backline on Tuesday.

Both teams secured impressive victories at the weekend, although Villa were helped by Chelsea's Filip Jorgensen throwing one into his net, and are poised to play out another frantic affair in south London.
Palace have been up and down on the results front in recent weeks, but there's no denying that Oliver Glasner's side are close to rediscovering their most potent groove. However, their ability on the counter-attack seems to manifest much more frequently away from home, and Emery will doubtlessly aim to limit the hosts' success in transition on Tuesday night.
This has the makings of a chess match with neither team keen on enjoying too much of the ball. In the end, another sharing of the spoils may be in the works.
