Crystal Palace vs Millwall: Preview, predictions and lineups
- Crystal Palace host London rivals Millwall in the FA Cup fifth round
- Eagles enter the game in impressive form after four wins from five
- Championship side aiming to earn surprise bragging rights

London rivals Crystal Palace and Millwall go head-to-head in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Saturday at Selhurst Park.
Meetings between these old adversaries have been few and far between in recent seasons, with just one competitive clash in the past decade. The Eagles came out triumphant on that occasion, beating Millwall 2-1 in the FA Cup back in January 2022.
Oliver Glasner's side will undoubtedly be enormous favourites to reach the quarter-finals this weekend given their impressive form and superior squad. They have won seven of their last nine matches in all competitions, although their two defeats during that spell came on home soil to Everton and Brentford.
The Lions are currently mid-table in the Championship following another mediocre campaign, with Alex Neil's side boasting an outside shot of reaching the play-offs. Their FA Cup journey has seen them conquer Leeds United and Dagenham & Redbridge thus far.
Here is 90min's guide to the London derby.

Crystal Palace team news
Marc Guehi managed to make it to the end of Tuesday's 4-1 demolition of Aston Villa but the England international suffered a minor knee injury in the victory. Glasner doesn't believe the issue is too serious, however.
Palace will be without three first-teamers for Millwall's visit, though. Chadi Riad and Joel Ward are long-term absentees in the backline, with Cheick Doucoure also missing in the engine room.
Romain Esse signed for the Eagles from Millwall during the winter window and could be handed the opportunity to send his former employers out of the competition.
Palace have just two games in March due to a suspended fixture and the international break, meaning they are unlikely to rest too many this weekend as they eye progress to the last eight of the FA Cup.
Crystal Palace predicted vs Millwall
Palace predicted lineup vs Millwall (3-4-2-1): Turner; Richards, Lacroix, Guehi; Munoz, Kamada, Lerma, Chilwell; Sarr, Eze; Nketiah.
Millwall team news
Former Fulham defender Joe Bryan was withdrawn before the hour mark against Derby County last time out with a foot injury but should be available on Saturday. However, Dan McNamara is absent with a long-term problem, while Ryan Leonard, Calum Scanlon and Macaulay Langstaff are all likely to miss out.
There is more bad news for Millwall, who will be without the cup-tied triumvirate of Tristan Crama, Aaron Connolly and Benicio Baker-Boaitey.
Former Tottenham Hotspur defender Japhet Tanganga will feature as he continues to impress with the Lions, while leading goalscorer Mihailo Ivanovic should lead the line at the other end of the pitch.
Millwall predicted lineup vs Crystal Palace
Millwall predicted lineup vs Palace (4-2-3-1): Jensen; Harding, Tanganga, Cooper, Bryan; De Norre, Saville; Neghli, Cundle, Azeez; Ivanovic.
Crystal Palace vs Millwall score prediction
Palace will be confident of sealing progression against a second tier outfit struggling for goals - Millwall have scored and conceded exactly 34 in as many matches in the Championship this term - and missing some important players.
This is the FA Cup, though, and the form book goes out of the window when you throw in the emotion that's sure to come hand in hand with a fiery London derby. Palace's depth and ability to handle the big occasion should stand them in good stead, but Millwall will do anything but roll over to have their bellies tickled.
Prediction: Crystal Palace 2-0 Millwall
