Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson has admitted there is still uncertainty surrounding his future with the Premier League champions after being linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League.
The Brazilian has lifted six Premier League trophies under Pep Guardiola since moving to the Etihad Stadium in 2017, forming a vital part of the team's immense success.
Seven seasons between the sticks has seen Ederson attract the attention of a number of top sides, with teams in the Saudi Pro League among the latest clubs fighting for his signature. After captaining City in a pre-season defeat to Milan, the goalkeeper took time to provide an update on his future.
"There isn't a definitive yet," he told TNT Brasil at the Yankee Stadium. "It's now my eighth season with him [Guardiola] living many good moments, also some bad ones.
"He's a guy who is easy to work with, he's a football genius and everyone knows that. I'm happy here, having a good moment with my teammates. I'm enjoying as well to get my fitness back on track. I'm very calm, whatever happens is in God's hands."
Guardiola, speaking after his side's 4-3 pre-season defeat to Celtic on Wednesday, revealed his desire to see Ederson remain at City but confirmed he may have 'options' to consider.
The 30-year-old keeper started in City's more recent 3-2 defeat at the hands of Milan, during which he sported the captain's armband. He featured for 81 minutes but was unable to stop the likes of Lorenzo Colombo and Marco Nasti from firing goals into the back of the net.
Ederson's place was taken by 38-year-old Scott Carson in the final moments of the game, while Stefan Ortega is also at Guardiola's disposal.
City will next face Spanish giants Barcelona at the Camping World Stadium in Florida having failed to win a game in pre-season so far.
