Endrick 'changes stance' on Real Madrid future
- Endrick has struggled for game time at Real Madrid
- The 18-year-old has made just one start in all competitions
- Endrick has been linked with a loan move in January
Endrick is no longer considering leaving Real Madrid during the January transfer window, a report has claimed.
The Brazilian youngster finally joined Madrid in the summer, with the club having spent €47.5m to secure his services back in December 2022. Despite lofty expectations, thanks to Real Madrid's strength-in-depth up front and notable acquisition of Kylian Mbappe, Endrick is yet to cement a place in the starting XI.
To date, the forward has actually played just 107 minutes of football across all competitions, making just one UEFA Champions League start - a 1-0 defeat to LOSC Lille in which he managed just 19 touches and was hooked off after an hour.
It was reported earlier this season that Endrick had not ruled out leaving on loan in January, with some close to the striker believing it would be the best move for his young career.
AS, however, state that Endrick is incredibly happy with the way things are going and has now firmly ruled out the idea of departing.
The 18-year-old may be set to feature prominently in the coming weeks due to the absence of star forward Vinicius Junior. The Brazilian missed his international team's October FIFA World Cup qualifying clashes with Peru and Chile after suffering a neck injury in Real Madrid's 2-0 win over Villarreal on October 5,
Vinicius is a doubt for this weekend's clash with Celta Vigo, potentially meaning that Endrick could be in line for his first ever La Liga start.
