Chelsea have loaned Armando Broja to Everton for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.

The Toffees also retain an option to make the move permanent next summer so they see fit.

Broja has departed the Blues at the end of a frantic transfer deadline day. He nearly joined Ipswich Town earlier this week but a move fell through due to issues discovered in a medical, only for the deal to be reignited and put out once more on Friday.

Everton have now stepped in and taken Broja on loan. As the Albania international is currently working his way back from a foot injury, they will not be the party to pay his wages until he returns to fitness.

Kevin Thelwell, Everton's director of football, said: "Having monitored Armando's journey for a number of years, we're very pleased to have been able to bring him to the Club.

"Armando is still a young player who has already built up some impressive experience but someone we also feel has lots more potential to be unlocked.

"First and foremost, we will work with him to get him fit as soon as possible. Then, his addition will strengthen our options in the attacking department."
