EA FC 25 is set for worldwide release on 27 September and there are plenty of new features for gamers to get excited for.

From a complete overhaul of the tactical system to new in-game player roles, a street-style five-a-side mode and deliberate fouls, fans of the long-running video game series have a lot to discover.

However, there's one addition to the simulation which has got fans counting down the days until its release.

The big change coming to EA FC 25 Career Mode

Fresh additions to Career Mode in recent years have made it more lifelike, with players able to take a seat at the table in negotiations when attempting to make transfers. However, there will be one distinctly new feature that social media users in particular will be enthused by.

That's right, transfer aficionado Fabrizio Romano will be covering all things transfers in Career Mode in the new game, with his 'Here we go!' catchphrase likely to be used to announce completed deals. The Italian is one of modern football's most renowned journalists, being known for his

He seems to have beaten newly established Winner Tshipamba to the gig, with the newbie's 'Here we land!' motto perhaps not famous enough yet to force him into FC 25.

That's not the only fresh feature in the game, either. Players can now take charge of women's teams in five major leagues and the Women's Champions League, while gamers can start with icons like Andrea Pirlo, Ruud Van Nistelrooy, Thierry Henry and Kelly Smith.

The total number of countries that can be scouted has increased to 160, while players can be trained to improve in certain roles that relate to their position.

FC 25 will be released on Friday 27 September, with Real Madrid and England midfielder Jude Bellingham expected to be the cover star. He also features on the front of the Ultimate Edition alongside Gianluigi Buffon, Aitana Bonmati, Zinedine Zidane and David Beckham.

FIFA president Gianni Infantino has previously said his organisation will bring out a video game to rival EA FC following the split between the two parties, but no official release date has been announced.
