With the signings of Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee being finalised already, it's clear that Manchester United mean business during the 2024 summer transfer window.

And the new INEOS transfer team are reportedly turning their attention to signing a new right-back next, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka tipped to leave the club if an suitable offer comes in. Jeremie Frimpong's expired release clause at Bayer Leverkusen also means his price tag is now uncapped.

To give new sporting director Dan Asworth and co. a helping hand in their scouting process, 90min has picked out three right-backs who the Red Devils should be eyeing up this summer.

Denzel Dumfries

Current club: Inter

Potential fee: €30m (£25.3m)

If Manchester United are in the market for the best available right-back, then Denzel Dumfries is the man they need to sign.

As shown during his time at Inter and with the Netherlands at Euro 2024, Dumfries is one of the very, very few genuinely world class right-backs in the game right now. And thanks to his contract at San Siro set to expire next summer, the Dutch international could very well be on the market this year for a reported €30m - a bargain for a player of his calibre.

Dumfries' ability on both sides of the ball would massively improve Erik ten Hag's team.

Current club: Red Bull Salzburg

Potential fee: €20m (£16.8m)

A younger alternative to Dumfries would be a player who has actually been linked with Inter as a potential replacement for Dumfries: Amar Dedic.

The 21-year-old has caught the eye since breaking into the Salzburg first-team over the last two seasons, largely thanks to his offensive ability. Dedic's average of two successful take-ons per game, 2.67 progressive carries and 12 goal contributions in two seasons with the Austrian giants is certainly impressive.

He'd be a project signing, but one that could develop into a top player down the line.

Vanderson

Current club: Monaco

Potential fee: €40m (£33.7m)

The most expensive of the trio here, and the one perhaps the most actively linked with a transfer too.

Vanderson's name has been in the rumour mill for quite a few years, with the right-back linked with a whole host of Europe's top clubs.

The 23-year-old is, by all accounts, certainly worth the hype too. His pace out on the right flank and ability to overlap makes him a very interesting prospect for the Red Devils in the market this summer.

Whether or not they'd be willing to fork out €40m when a player like Dumfries is reportedly available for €10m less, however, remains to be seen.
