AFC Bournemouth star Dominic Solanke has gained the attention of clubs across Europe this summer after an impressive season on the south coast.

The forward's 19 goals in the Premier League fired him into contention for Gareth Southgate's Euro 2024 squad, with fans and pundits alike hoping to see the goalscorer on the plane to Germany.

The call-up didn't come but his attacking skillset has piqued the interest of a number of clubs, who may look to give Solanke the stepping stone he needs to progress in his career. The player does, however, come with a reported £65m release clause that can only be activated by certain teams.

But where will he play next and which club would suit him best?

1. West Ham United

West Ham United are still on the hunt for a striker to ensure new boss Julen Lopetegui has everything at his disposal to create magic in east London.

Winger Jarrod Bowen was their top goalscorer once again for the 2023/24 season, netting 16 goals in the Premier League, just three fewer than Solanke.

However, the Hammers have also been linked with Aston Villa star Jhon Duran, a move that is looking increasingly likely. If Solanke is hoping for a big move to propel his career forward, he may not view West Ham as the best option, with the London side finishing only four points ahead of the Cherries last season.

2. Newcastle United

Newcastle United reportedly made an approach for Solanke back in January, but Bournemouth knew better than to let their star leave then.

Callum Wilson spent much of the season on the sidelines and so the Magpies may look to bring in attacking reinforcements this summer.

Solanke and Wilson did, of course, spend some time together on the south coast, so a chance to team up may be of interest to the two forwards.

3. Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur remain keen on finding a new number nine to fill the void left by Harry Kane and have set their sights on Solanke.

The Bournemouth star scored eight more goals than Richarlison and two more than Son Heung-min in the Premier League last season, making him a sound option as the north London side attempt to climb the ranks during the upcoming campaign.

However, Spurs are also keeping an eye on Ivan Toney, Jonathan David and Santiago Gimenez to name a few and could lean in another direction if they want to avoid Solanke's release clause.

4. Chelsea

Solanke came through the youth ranks at Chelsea and therefore could be keen on a move back to his boyhood club. The 26-year-old's playing prospects would look very different at Stamford Bridge now compared to what they did in 2017 and could convince the striker to revisit his roots.

The Blues already have prolific strikers in the form of Cole Palmer and even Nicolas Jackson, so Solanke could fall down the pecking order if he was to favour a move to Chelsea.

Chelsea have already signed six players in the summer transfer window though, meaning Solanke may have missed out on the chance to swap red for blue.

Fit: 7/10

5. Arsenal

Arsenal are still searching for a striker to complete their title-chasing lineup and have started to look towards the Cherries star.

A coach like Mikel Arteta could be great for Solanke, who would be given the chance to prove his worth in pressured conditions as part of the Gunners' system.

Arsenal finished just behind leaders Manchester City last season partly due to their lack of an out-and-out goalscorer. If they remain ambitious and hope to clinch the Premier League trophy, a signing like Solanke could be the answer.

With Solanke at the Emirates, Arsenal could end their 20-year wait for title glory.

Fit: 8/10
