After a harrowing defeat to Crystal Palace at Anfield last week, Liverpool were able to return to winning ways on Sunday.

Goals from Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ryan Gravenberch and Diogo Jota were enough to earn an important 3-1 win at Craven Cottage over Fulham for a heavily-rotated Reds side.

The win was enough to ensure that Jurgen Klopp's side end the week locked level on points with Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table - only seperated by the Gunners' superior goal difference.

Here's Liverpool's best and worst player in the win, according to 90min's esteemed player ratings.

Liverpool's best player vs Fulham

Trent Alexander-Arnold: 9/10

Back in the Liverpool starting lineup for the first time since early February (due to injury), Trent Alexander-Arnold looked like he hadn't missed a step on Sunday.

The right-back was at his imperious best during his 80 minutes on the pitch, creating chances for his teammates with his typically wonderful delivery from the right flank, and even scoring a wonderful goal of his own - curling a free-kick expertly into the top corner in the first half.

His return to fitness may provide Liverpool's title challenge with some much-needed renewed vigour.

Honourable mention

Ryan Gravenberch: 7/10

Rather shockingly, Ryan Gravenberch's goal on Sunday was first ever in any of Europe's top five leagues - that is a stat I read, then triple-checked to see if it's right (it is).

It's even more shocking when you consider how bloody good the goal he scored against Fulham was too.

The towering midfielder curled the ball into the bottom corner from just outside the box as though he's done it a thousand times before throughout his short career.

Expect Gravenberch to start a few more games between now and the end of the Premier League season after his impressive showing.

Liverpool's worst player vs Fulham

Luis Diaz: 6/10

Given the reins over on the right of Liverpool's attack in Mohamed Salah's stead, Luis Diaz didn't really take the game by the scruff of the neck in the way that Klopp was perhaps hoping he would.

After missing a fantastic chance in the third minute of the game - heading narrowly wide of the post - the Colombian largely struggled to effect proceedings.

His one shot and one chance creation to his name don't make for the most impressive reading.
