Considering the fact that they were coming off the back of a gruelling 120 minute battle with Manchester City in midweek, many Real Madrid fans were probably not expecting the world from their side on Sunday.

However, despite looking leggy for most of the game against Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabeu, the sheer quality of Madrid's attacking players ultimately shone through once again, with Jude Bellingham netting a 91st minute winner on the night to seal all three points and probably the La Liga title too.

Here's Real Madrid's best and worst players from the dramatic 3-2 win over arch rivals Barca, according to 90min's esteemed player ratings.

Real Madrid's best player vs Barcelona

Vinicius Junior: 8/10

Bellingham's name will be strewn across every single spots daily in Spain tomorrow, and rightfully so, but he wasn't actually the best player on the pitch on Sunday evening - Vinicius Junior was.

As per usual, the Brazilian put in a barnstorming performance against Barca, netting his seventh career goal against the Catalan club from the penalty spot in the first half before setting up his side's second equaliser with a perfectly weighted cross to Lucas Vazquez in the 75th minute.

While the majority of his teammates looked pretty knackered on and off the ball, Vini was able to drive his team forward with his dynamic running up and down the park.

Simply put, Madrid probably didn't have a hope of winning on Sunday night without Vinicius.

Honourable mention

Jude Bellingham: 8/10

While not our player of the match, we can't at least give an honourable mention to Bellingham for scoring the winning goal on the night.

The 91st minute winner was his third career goal against Barca already, and what feels like his millionth match-winning goal for Madrid since he joined the club during the 2023 summer transfer window.

He is a genuine mega star.

Real Madrid's worst player vs Barcelona

Andriy Lunin: 4/10

After receiving a standing ovation during the warm-up thanks to his season-best outing against Man City on Wednesday, Lunin probably put in his season-worst performance on Sunday evening.

Both goals which Barca scored can, in one way or another, be attributed to some shoddy goalkeeping from the Ukrainian.

The first of which came thanks to Lunin completely missing an attempted punched clearance of a corner kick, and the second came when he palmed a Lamine Yamal effort right back into the danger zone, where Fermin Lopez was on hand to tap home.

It was just one of those days for the Madrid goalkeeper.
