Klopp's final goodbye

Where else to start but the obvious one? Sunday will see the race for the Premier League title come to an end but that almost feels like the secondary storyline, such is the gravity of Jurgen Klopp's impending exit from Liverpool.

The red half of Merseyside has a new favourite son and every second of Klopp's tenure that remains will be cherished, setting up an emotional visit from a Wolves side who also don't really have anything to play for.

All the signs suggest this will be one big party for Liverpool, whose fans could create one of the most stunning atmospheres English football has ever seen as they bid goodbye to an undisputed icon.

Man Utd on brink of history

Erik ten Hag may still enter his name in Manchester United's history books, but for all the wrong reasons.

United head into the weekend sitting down in eighth. Never before have the Red Devils finished so low in the standings, with David Moyes' tumble to seventh currently occupying the unwanted record. The Red Devils face Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday and need to better the result achieved by Newcastle United in their game against Brentford to avoid this dishonour.

With 57 points to their name, United are also at risk of recording their lowest-ever points tally, which currently stands at 58.

England's left-back candidates to step up

Following Ten Hag's admission that Luke Shaw may not even be fit for the Euros this summer, Gareth Southgate's eyes will be flying up and down England in search of potential alternatives.

Chelsea's Ben Chilwell is the leading contender but the likes of Crystal Palace's Tyrick Mitchell, Liverpool's Joe Gomez and Newcastle's Lewis Hall will all sense a rare opportunity to force their way into a squad which is not always open to outsiders.

This is the final chance for those players to catch the eye ahead of Southgate's squad announcement, so expect them to go all-out.

Chelsea fans had to wait what felt like an eternity to see Christopher Nkunku whip out the blue balloon in celebration.

The Frenchman's absence has been massive this year but he is finally back and contributing to games at the perfect time, with Chelsea now climbing up to the European spots and even battling for fifth place.

Chelsea need a point against Bournemouth to guarantee sixth but three points would open up the door for Mauricio Pochettino to leapfrog former employers Tottenham Hotspur in the standings.

Are Tottenham on the same page?

Tottenham fans went through a rough patch this week in their relationship with manager Ange Postecoglou, who was put through "the worst experience of his career" because of the mood surrounding the 2-0 defeat to Manchester City.

Having publicly challenged supporters who were happy to see their team lose a game that pushed Arsenal behind in the title race, Postecoglou has tried to build bridges with the supporters but still admitted he has concerns with the "fragile foundations" both inside and outside the club.

That frosty atmosphere cannot be allowed to spill over into Sunday's game against bottom-side Sheffield United as a defeat could see them fall below Chelsea into sixth.

The greatest test of Arsenal's mentality

Arsenal have to win if they are to have any chance of winning the Premier League. That is no secret.

The real challenge for Mikel Arteta's side, however, could be retaining their composure while the odds are against them. News of any goals for Manchester City will inevitably trickle its way down to the players and it would be easy for heads to fall as hope begins to fade.

Arsenal must remain ruthless from the first whistle to the last. While a late favour from West Ham could end up bringing the Premier League title as a reward, the Gunners can send a strong statement of their intent for next season if they sign off with a brutal triumph over Everton.
