Premier League football stars took the time to watch a slightly different version of the game during the October international break, celebrating the NFL's return to the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

The New York Jets travelled across the world to take on Minnesota Vikings on 6 October, before the Chicago Bears triumphed over the Jacksonville Jaguars on 13 October - bringing two exciting fixtures to the heart of north London.

With club football on hold, plenty of football stars flocked to enjoy the USA's version of 'football', styling out in fashionable outfits while doing so.

So, what do football stars wear to an NFL game? You asked, we answered.

Mikel Merino

Arsenal star Mikel Merino came to impress when he strolled out at his rivals' stadium in a classic black leather jacket. The beauty of autumn means outfits can now be dressed up with sleek jackets, and Merino did not miss the chance to pull some outwear from his closet.

It may have been a slight culture shock from the warmths of Spain, but Merino has immersed himself into life in London just two months after moving to the United Kingdom.

If he's anything like his Arsenal counterparts, he'll be striding down the red carpet in no time.

Roy Keane

This man loves an NFL game! Roy Keane donned a beige adidas jacket while he remained sheltered in the stands of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The Manchester United legend paired a pair of blue jeans with a similar shade jumper. He knows his style.

Cool, trendy and on-brand, Keane rocked the adidas Spezial collection just a year after he fronted the launch of their autumn/winter range. It's a 10/10 from us.

Lucy Bronze

Women's Super League star Lucy Bronze travelled from west to north London to catch the NFL and made sure she looked good doing it.

If we didn't already know it was hat season, we certainly do now and what a better way to kick off autumn fashion than donning a brown LA Dodgers cap - different sport but definitely stylish.

Bronze made sure to wrap up warm, paying attention to the season's constant trend - layers! We love it Lucy, you get a gold medal from us.

Timo Werner

Tottenham Hotspur star Timo Werner just loves spending his spare time at his home ground, oh, and NFL, of course!

Werner matched the vibe in his black puffer jacket and Kith Europe hat, covered on all basis. This is officially an announcement that we can dig those puffer jackets out from our autumn/winter wardrobes now. If Werner is doing it, then we can too.

He also took the time to chat with the players after the game on Sunday - fair play Werner!

Aaron Ramsdale

Southampton shot-stopper Aaron Ramsdale returned to north London in time to catch a dose of NFL while taking a break from his gloves during the international break.

He too received the cap memo it seems. Ramsdale paired a clean white hoodie with a brown ribbed jacket, offering a more relaxed colour scheme than the bright outfits he's usually made to wear between the sticks.

Keep smiling Ramsdale, north London will always welcome you with open arms.
