Ferran Torres has reaffirmed his desire to remain with Barcelona beyond this summer, advising clubs interested in his signature to save their ink.

Though he hasn't had the best of times with La Blaugrana since arriving from Manchester City in 2022, Ferran remains a highly valued player by many clubs.

Arsenal have previously been credited with an interest in his services, but the recent focus has revolved around Newcastle United, with some reports even going as far as to claim a bid had been made.

Speaking on where he'll be for the 2024/25 season, Ferran boldly told RAC1: "I'm going to continue at Barca next year.

"I'm very calm. They can save the ink and change my name for someone else's. It's not that I want to continue, it's that I'm going to continue at Barca."

Ferran joined Barca on a five-year deal until 2027, the Catalan giants setting his buyout clause at €1bn.

It remains to be seen if Hansi Flick can get the best out of Ferran with the player struggling under previous boss Xavi.

He featured in 29 La Liga games last season but just 12 of those came as a starter, although Ferran still managed to rack up a respectful return of seven goals and three assists, while also netting three times in the Champions League.

Barcelona are expected to try cash in on a forward this summer, with Brazilian Raphinha regularly suggested as a potential casualty of the club's poor financial situation.
