Football fans have predicted that England will reach the semi-finals at Euro 2024 this summer in Germany.
England are widely regarded as one of the favourites to go far at Euro 2024 thanks to their impressive performances at recent international tournaments, and the wealth of talent at manager Gareth Southgate's disposal.
The Three Lions reached the final of Euro 2020, coming within a penalty shootout of winning the tournament at Wembley Stadium, and also made it to the FIFA World Cup semi-final back in 2018 - their two best performances in international tournaments in over three decades.
These performances have been possible thanks to the huge wave of talent that has come into the senior squad over the last number of years. The likes of Phil Foden, Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham and Declan Rice are all considered to be some of the best players in the world, and will all be at Southgate's disposal this summer in Germany.
In a poll conducted by YouGov, England fans have given their prediction for how far their nation will go at Euro 2024, with a whopping 50% of voters stating their belief that the Three Lions will be knocked out of the competition at the semi-final stage.
That prediction is likely due to the possibility of going head-to-head with Euro 2024 favourites France in the semi-finals this summer, with the pair potentially facing off on July 10 in Dortmund.
26% of voters predicted that England would go one step further and reach the final, but only 7% stated their belief that they'd win the final and be crowned European champions for the first time ever.
The less optimistic fans have predicted that England will be knocked out in the quarter-finals, with a final-eight exit garnering 21% of total votes, while just 1% believe a group stage exit is on the cards.
Southgate's side are due to face off against Serbia, Denmark and Slovenia in the group stages, and will kick off their Euro 2024 campaign on June 16 in Gelsenkirchen.
