Gameweek 34 of Fantasy Premier League is particularly exciting for those yet to wildcard, play their triple captain chip or their bench boost.
That's because a number of the division's top teams are gearing up for a double gameweek, making the captaincy conversation all the more important. So who should you be picking to get the jump on those in your league?
Fantasy Football Hub's powerful AI Points Predictions tool is designed to help players identify the best options, with the following three deemed most likely to rack up the points this week.
Mohamed Salah
- Fixtures: Fulham (A), Everton (A); Predicted Points: 14.8
Liverpool talisman Mohamed Salah leads the captain race by three points over his nearest rival and presents a very credible option for any manager still carrying their triple captain chip, given his 26 goal involvements this season.
Only Cole Palmer can beat Salah’s 7.2 points per match this season, and he has favourable fixtures - and important a good track record - for what is a double gameweek for the Reds. Salah scored a brace in the reverse fixture against Merseyside derby rivals Everton, accruing 16 points, and also got an assist in the 4-3 win against Fulham.
Eberechi Eze
Fixtures: West Ham (H), Newcastle United (H); Predicted Points: 11.8
Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze is well fancied after scoring three goals in the six appearances he's made since returning from injury. His standout performance came last time out against Liverpool, where his winning goal netted a ten-point haul.
His routes to points are plentiful given that he takes most of Palace's set pieces, and there’s been a marked improvement in their attacking performances, and intent, under new manager Oliver Glasner.
Bukayo Saka
Fixtures: Wolves (A), Chelsea (H); Predicted Points: 11.7
Bukayo Saka is the highest points scorer in FPL this season among the teams who have two fixtures this gameweek, with 86 of his total haul coming in 2024.
The tricky winger has been involved in ten Arsenal goals this calendar year, with his prowess from set pieces a particular asset. Not only has Saka scored five times from the penalty spot, he delivers consistently well from corners and takes a lot of free-kicks from out wide.
In the reverse fixtures against Wolves and Chelsea, Saka picked up goal involvements, and will hope to repeat the feat as the Gunners bid to stay in the Premier League title race.
