Gabriel has revealed that he would leave Arsenal "tomorrow" if his dream club Corinthians offered him a deal.

The Gunners defender has become an integral part of Mikel Arteta's squad, and received praise during the 2023/24 campaign - especially for his partnership with William Saliba.

But now the Brazilian has admitted that he would leave all of that behind if he was to hear an offer from his 'dream' club Corinthians.

Speaking on the Cartoloucos Youtube channel, Gabriel shared his excitement over a potential move to his home nation, playfully adding that he would leave "tomorrow".

"The Corinthians thing is since I was born," he explained. "And today I don't think it has to be any different. I keep going to the Corinthians games by train. It's my dream, I want to play for Corinthians, I want to feel that energy.

"It's something to be thought about. Sometimes I stop and think, 'Do you have a dream to play for Corinthians?'. I do. 'When would you play at Corinthians?' For me, tomorrow I'd be at Corinthians. I hope not to delay because I want, as soon as possible, to feel the energy of that crowd, which is incredible."

Gabriel's talent has attracted the eyes of top clubs around the world, but Arsenal have made it clear that they have no intentions of selling the defender this summer. His contract is not set to expire until 2027, meaning there's still plenty of time for him to make an impression at the Emirates.

Elsewhere, however, the club may be preparing for a busy window, as they look to secure a new striker to add goalscoring depth to the squad.

BR Leipzig's Bejamin Sesko is among the names to have been linked with a move to north London, but Arsenal may have to compete with Chelsea for his signature.
