Germany vs Greece: Preview, predictions and lineups
- Germany's final game before Euro 2024 takes place on Friday
- Julian Nagelsmann's side face Greece in Monchengladbach
- Hosts open up Euros following Friday against Scotland
The second of Germany's two warm-up matches ahead of Euro 2024 takes place on Friday as Julian Nagelsmann's side face Greece in Monchengladbach.
Die Mannschaft's preparations for the upcoming summer tournament began with a stalemate against Ukraine on Monday. The three-time European champions were left frustrated by a fine performance between the sticks from Anatoliy Trubin, although there was enough on display in Nuremberg to suggest the hosts will be a team to keep an eye on in the summer.
Nagelsmann still has the likes of Antonio Rudiger and Toni Kroos to welcome back into the fold, too.
The Germans will want to produce a more convincing final third display on Friday with the start of Euro 2024 just a week out by the time they kick-off against Greece. The hosts face Scotland in the tournament's curtain-raiser on 14 June.
Greece came ever so close to qualifying for the Euros but succumbed to newbies Georgia on penalties in their play-off final. The 2004 champions won't be in action this summer but have nonetheless shown signs of progress over the past couple of years under Gus Poyet. They'll be a formidable test for the Germans on Friday.
Here's 90min's preview of Germany's pre-Euro 2024 friendly.

Germany vs Greece score prediction
Ukraine were a tricky opponent for Germany last time out and Greece could pose similar issues. Poyet is out the door but it's hard to envisage a major overhaul on Friday.
The visitors should be stubborn enough to contain their dynamic and vertical hosts but keeping them at bay for 90 minutes will be an almighty challenge.
Nagelsmann's Germany are excellent and won't be shut out two games on the spin.
