Chelsea Women unveiled the club's third kit for the upcoming 2024/25 season during their pre-season friendly against Arsenal, with a design celebrating the acceleration of the women's game.

Most notably, the jersey features a vertical double Nike logo, opposed to the usual horizontal one. The upward point represents the rise of women's football and will be worn by both the men's and women's squads.

Not only does the kit celebrate the women's game, it also pays homage to the explosion of punk, with a design that goes back in time to the 1970s.

The lion that replaces the full club badge is a double layer too, giving it a 3D feel. The kit's design is intended to help the performance of players wearing it and is made from Nike's Dri-Fit ADV technology, providing reinforcement, mobility and breathability.

Chelsea Women were given the honour of wearing the third kit for the first time during their second pre-season friendly against WSL rivals Arsenal in the United States.

Sonia Bompastor celebrated her second victory in two games as second-half substitute and new recruit Sandy Baltimore scored her first Chelsea goal in the 48th minute at Audi Field, securing a 1-0 win.

Bompastor made five changes from her lineup against Gotham FC last week, with goalkeeper Zecira Musovic, defenders Ashley Lawrence and Kadeisha Buchanan, midfielder Sjoeke Nusken and forward Maika Hamano all involved from the start.

The Blues are now on their way back to the United Kingdom and will begin preparations for their next pre-season friendly against Feyenoord at Kingsmeadow on 7 September.
