For many, attending a major tournament final is a bucket list activity. Some will fulfil that dream this weekend.

After weeks of gruelling battles, glorious goals and relentless drama, the Euro 2024 final is now almost here. It's been a crazy ride, with tens of thousands of supporters fortunate enough to witness its conclusion from just several hundred feet away.

Scoring tickets for the showpiece event is tremendously difficult and, perhaps more significantly, devastatingly expensive.

But just how much will supporters have to splash on a Euro 2024 final ticket?

How much does a Euro 2024 final ticket cost?

For supporters who were fortunate enough to bag a ticket for the Euro 2024 final via the initial UEFA sale, ticket prices were not necessarily exorbitant. There were different categories of tickets available to fans at four price points, starting at a relatively reasonable £76. However, higher category tickets ranged from £253 to £844.

Of course, there are bound to be those now wanting a ticket for this year's final who don't currently own them. Unfortunately, their bank balances are in serious trouble.

Given second-hand tickets for the semi-final between England and Netherlands were selling for as much as £17,000 (yes, really), they are only likely to cost even more for the final this Sunday. However, fans have been urged not to purchase tickets from resellers.

Fans can find more information on UEFA's plans for tickets for the final on their website.

The Olympiastadion, which was originally designed for the 1936 Summer Olympics, will host the Euro 2024 final in Berlin, Germany. The venue is used by Hertha Berlin every season but has showcased five games already at this summer's tournament - the most recent being the quarter-final between the Netherlands and Turkey.

The Euro 2024 final will take place at the Olympiastadion on Sunday 14 July, with kick-off at 20:00 BST. The arena has a capacity of just under 75,000 and will be packed to the rafters this weekend.

48 matches on from the beginning of the tournament, the final is set. England's men's team will get another shot at winning the Euros for the first time this weekend when they face Spain in the big game.

England have not been particularly convincing en route to the final but that matters little now, with the Three Lions desperate to avenge their Euro 2020 final defeat to Italy. In contrast, Spain have been comfortably the best team in the tournament and are aiming for a record fourth European crown.
