Real Madrid supporters are no strangers to superstars, and their latest 'galactico' is set to be unveiled in a grand presentation.

Following a multi-year-long transfer saga, a patient Florentino Perez finally secured his man. Kylian Mbappe's intention to leave Paris Saint-Germain having emerged as arguably the club's greatest-ever player became clear earlier this year, and thankfully, Real Madrid acted quickly in the summer to secure their priority target on a not-so-free transfer.

Mbappe heads to Madrid off the back of a disappointing Euro 2024 in which he failed to score from open play as a cautious France were beaten by Spain in the semi-finals.

"I wanted to be European champion… I will now go on holiday, I will rest well, it will do me a lot of good, then I will get ready to start a new life," the Frenchman said in the wake of his country's exit. Well, given the seismic nature of his summer transfer, there's little time for Mbappe to rest. Before he begins pre-season and jets off to the States with his new team, the 25-year-old will first be officially unveiled by the club.

When is Kylian Mbappe's Real Madrid unveiling?

Real Madrid confirmed last week that Mbappe's unveiling will take place at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday 16 July at 12:00 CEST (11:00 GMT).

The Frenchman will undergo his medical and sign his Madrid contract on the day.

How to watch Kylian Mbappe's Real Madrid unveiling?

Tickets are available for Tuesday's event, but if you aren't lucky enough to see Perez unveil Mbappe in the flesh it will be streamed live via the RM Play App.

The digital service was launched by the club last year and the majority of content is free to access for those with a free Madridista account. It's not yet clear whether you'll need a premium subscription to watch Mbappe's unveiling on Tuesday. However, given that the club were selling tickets for free, it seems likely that the presentation will be free to stream on the app.

How much are tickets for Kylian Mbappe's Real Madrid unveiling?

Real Madrid members get priority for Mbappe's unveiling, and they can purchase one free ticket for the event and four member tickets in the same process. Tickets then went on sale to 'Premium Madridistas' on Saturday 13 July, and on general sale the following day.

Tickets were free for those able to secure a ticket first-hand. Unsurprisingly, though, tickets sold out very fast and supporters are now selling their tickets on re-sale sites for big fees.

Prices have ranged from €30 to €200, but the Bernabeu is still expected to be packed for Mbappe's official arrival.
