Inter express interest in Man Utd defender - report
- Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been linked with a move to Inter
- He could replace Denzel Dumfries if he is to leave the club this summer
- Inter have previously been linked with fellow Red Devil Anthony Martial
Inter could make a move for Aaron Wan-Bissaka if fellow right-back Denzel Dumfries is to leave the club this summer, according to a report.
Dumfries, a previous target for a number of Premier League sides including Chelsea and Manchester United, is approaching the final 12 months of his contract and could leave this summer if an agreement over an extension cannot be found.
Gazzetta dello Sport state that Inter have identified Wan-Bissaka as a potential summer replacement, as they look to build their squad ahead of the 2024/25 season.
Wan-Bissaka is currently tied to the Red Devils until the summer of 2025 after United chose to trigger the one-year extension clause in his contract in January.
He is yet to agree the terms of a new deal, so United may be tempted to sell the defender before they risk losing him on a free.
It is claimed that Wan-Bissaka could be signed for €15m (£13m), with Inter valuing current right-back Dumfries at £25m.
Wan-Bissaka, 26, has made just 13 Premier League appearances this season after struggling with recurrent hamstring issues. He's featured 181 times since making the move to Old Trafford but has missed 12 games in total this season.
If he is to make the move to Serie A, Wan-Bissaka may join current teammate Anthony Martial, who has also been linked with Inter.
The French striker is set to become a free agent at the end of the season as United are not expected to trigger their extension clause in his contract.
Inter currently sit firmly atop the Serie A table, with AC Milan trailing 14 points behind in second place.
