Juventus have confirmed the exact financial details of Liverpool's signing of winger Federico Chiesa.
Liverpool enjoyed a quiet summer transfer window, with Chiesa the only immediate addition to the squad. Goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili has also agreed to head to Anfield in 2025 after one final season with Valencia.
Chiesa's move was confirmed earlier this week and Juventus have now revealed the fees and figures involved.
"Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that an agreement with Liverpool FC for the definitive disposal of the registration rights of the player Federico Chiesa has been reached for a consideration of €12m (£10.1m), payable in four financial years, in addition to variable bonuses up to a maximum of €3m (£2.5m)," a statement read.
Liverpool will, therefore, pay around £2.5m every year for the next four years, with up to another £2.5m in bonuses which could take the final cost of the deal to just over £12.5m.
Fans will have to wait to get a first look at Chiesa in action as manager Arne Slot has already admitted he does not expect the Italy international to be fit enough to face Manchester United on Sunday.
"It's a bigger chance that he is not in the squad for Sunday than he is," Slot confessed. "If injuries might come up in the upcoming days we might need him, but I don't expect him to be in but I cannot guarantee this."
