Kobbie Mainoo injury return timeline a concern for Man Utd

Manchester United could be without Kobbie Mainoo for up to six weeks because of injury, reports claim.
The 19-year-old was forced to miss United's 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, with Ruben Amorim confirming in the build-up to the game that the teenager had "felt something" in training.
United were also without Manuel Ugarte, Toby Collyer, Leny Yoro and Christian Eriksen for the trip to north London, and most importantly Amad Diallo, who could miss the rest of the season with an ankle injury.
Amorim was forced to play Casemiro alongside Bruno Fernandes in the heart of midfield, and although the pair were not overrun by Spurs' midfield trio of Lucas Bergvall, Rodrigo Bentancur and James Maddison, they were played through a number of times in the first half as United's disjointed press failed to regain possession.
The Daily Mail note that United could be without Mainoo for up to six weeks, though it's still not been specified what the 10-cap England international's injury actually is.
If that timeline proves to be accurate, Mainoo will miss United's Premier League clashes with Everton, Ipswich Town, Leicester City and potentially Nottingham Forest, as well as a game at Old Trafford with title-chasing Arsenal.
Mainoo will also be absent for the Red Devils' FA Cup fifth round clash with Fulham on March 2.
United's latest defeat leaves them 15th in the Premier League table, having lost 12 of the 25 games they've played this season. The last time the club had been beaten so many times at this stage of a season was when they were relegated from the old First Division 51 years ago.
There's no suggestion that United are in relegation trouble this year – they are 12 points ahead of Ipswich despite being just three places above them – but the pressure is intensifying on Amorim and the players to reverse an alarming run of results that, barring success in the FA Cup or Europa League, means continental football will not be on offer next season.
That, from a financial point of view, will be catastrophic for United amid a glut of redundancies across different departments of the club.
