Liverpool have finally unveiled their new away kit for the 2024/25 season.

The design has been seen regularly on social media over the past few months and was even debuted by Liverpool's Under-18s in a recent pre-season friendly, before midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai offered fans a glimpse during a public appearance.

The club's worst-kept secret is now out of the bag, with Liverpool formally revealing a new twist on their popular green colourway regularly used in their away kits.

Described as "night forest" - an earthy, dark green colour - the base is accentuated by flashes of teal across the sleeves, shoulders and shorts.

The font for the player names and numbers on the back of the shirt has also been inspired by local culture, with Liverpool taking the writing style from the city's famous street signs.

Fans will not have to wait long to see the new shirt in action as Arne Slot's senior side will wear it for the first time in the pre-season clash with Manchester United in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Also included in the release of the new away kit is an away warm-up shirt, while there are plans to reveal more items from the lifestyle and training collection in the coming weeks.

Liverpool conclude their tour of the United States against Man Utd at the weekend, having enjoyed victories over both Real Betis and Arsenal during their time overseas.

The Reds will return to Anfield for one final friendly against Sevilla on August 11 before beginning their Premier League season against Ipswich Town six days later.
