Luis Diaz is happy with life at Liverpool and has no desire to push for a move away from the club, a report has revealed.

Diaz is approaching the final two years of his contract at Anfield and reports have suggested talks over an extension have proven problematic, not least because of Barcelona signaling a desire to strike a deal for the Colombia international.

It was even recently claimed that Diaz had snubbed Liverpool's offer of an extension because of his desire to join Barcelona but, according to Florian Plettenberg, that is not the case.

Despite the intense competition for minutes at Liverpool, Diaz is enjoying life under Arne Slot and is not believed to have spoken with any other club about a possible transfer.

Liverpool are expected to continue talks over an extension and may have to hand Diaz a significant wage rise considering he remains on the same terms he agreed when he joined from Porto in the summer of 2022.

Diaz has established himself as a key figure in Slot's side. Deployed both out wide and as a central striker, he has already racked up 11 goals in 23 appearances across all competitions, including a two-goal haul in the 6-3 thumping of Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend.
