Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw is reported to have suffered a setback in his bid to return from a lengthy injury lay-off.
Shaw has managed just five appearances for United over the past 12 months after being plagued by a series of fitness issues, the last of which sent him back to the sidelines in December.
The left-back was spotted back in training last week as he looked to make his return for Ruben Amorim's side, but news of a possible setback for Shaw began swirling on social media on Wednesday morning.
There were claims that Shaw could miss another month at the very least because of his latest issue, but the Daily Mail insist his injury is "not too serious".
Citing sources at United, The Telegraph add Shaw is already scheduled for a return to training on Monday, playing down the severity of this new problem.
United signed Patrick Dorgu from Lecce during the winter transfer window after Amorim identified left-back as an area of concern. With the Denmark international through the door, the decision was made to authorise Tyrell Malacia's departure to PSV Eindhoven.
While Shaw's time as United's starting left-back appears to be over, many fans are keen to see the 29-year-old given a fresh opportunity as the left-sided centre-back in Amorim's back three after Lisandro Martinez was ruled out for the rest of the season with an ACL injury.
