The agent of RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko was in the stands at Old Trafford to watch Arsenal's 1-0 win over Manchester United on Sunday.
90min understands both sides have serious interest in Sesko, whose €50m (£42m) release clause makes him a significantly cheaper option this summer compared to the likes of Napoli's Victor Osimhen and Sporting CP's Viktor Gyokeres.
Speculation of a potential move to either Arsenal or United was fuelled on Sunday as agent Elvis Basanovic took to social media to confirm he was in attendance for the game between the two sides. The purpose of his visit is not clear.
Sesko's agent has visited Old Trafford on a number of occasions over the past year and also revealed he was present at Stamford Bridge to watch fellow suitors Chelsea take on United back in April.
The striker has long been seen as one of Europe's most exciting young talents and has continued to boost his momentum with an outrageous run of form in 2024.
After struggling for minutes in the first half of the season, Sesko has racked up ten goals in his last 15 Bundesliga games and has added a further two assists.
Sources indicate that 20-year-old Sesko is open to a new challenge this summer and may have no shortage of interest, with both Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain known to have expressed an interest in the striker's services.
His contract comes with a €50m release clause but 90min understands Leipzig are open to a deal which could be paid in instalments, rather than the up-front payment that comes with a typical release clause. The German side reached such an agreement with the sale of Christopher Nkunku to Chelsea.
