Manchester United have signed promising 18-year-old midfielder Sekou Kone.
The Mali youth international was courted by several of Europe's top sides this summer, but picked United as his choice of club after leaving Guidars FC.
The Red Devils wrapped up a deal for Kone on Friday evening, four hours before the closure of England's transfer window. He was pictured with technical director Jason Wilcox at his unveiling.
United's short statement confirming the deal revealed how Kone will be given an extended period to adapt to life in England, detailing how he will be supported by the club's academy to 'settle into life in Manchester'.
Kone's move to United is likely the most low-key piece of business the club will carry out on deadline day. An agreement is in place with Paris Saint-Germain over the signing of Manuel Ugarte, while Scott McTominay will soon be announced as a new Napoli player.
Meanwhile, United are locked in talks with Chelsea over winger Jadon Sancho. The Blues are said to have submitted two different loan offers - one with an optional purchase clause and one with an obligatory purchase clause - and United are continuing to deliberate over Sancho's future.
