Manchester United have identified Juventus midfielder Kenan Yildiz as a top transfer target, according to a report.

New head coach Ruben Amorim is expected to request a handful of new signings in 2025, with a recent report revealing left-back is his priority area.

Now, Sky Sports Germany state an attacking midfielder is also high on United's wish list as they look for natural fits in Amorim's 3-4-2-1 setup, with Yildiz emerging as one of the club's top targets.

Yildiz, a 19-year-old Turkish international, joined Juventus from Bayern Munich in 2022 and forced his way into the senior side last season, particularly catching the eye towards the end of the campaign.

His impressive form has carried over into the 2024/25 season, with Yildiz racking up four goals and three assists to establish himself as one of the club's most potent attacking threats. His development is believed to have caught the eyes of United scouts.

United are ready to try and reinforce in attack in the summer transfer window but are expected to face an uphill battle if they pursue Yildiz, who currently has no desire to leave Turin.

Yildiz has already decided that he wants to remain with Juventus beyond this season. Club officials are delighted with his progress and fans did not need long to throw their support behind him after his breakthrough.

Elsewhere, United are said to have stepped up their pursuit of Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres, who could be set for a reunion with Amorim at Old Trafford.
